Kaapi Konfusion
I put in three heaped spoons of kaapi podi
I press down the powder with the bottom of a tumbler
I put in the kodai on top of the podi
I pour in the amount of boiling water that my mum specifies
But somehow...
I keep messing up the filter coffee 'degaucktion'!!!
Is it the end of the world??
Any advice? :)

and then get your coffee from them.

i dont even drink coffee da...its for my parents and bro...but good suggestion! have you managed to befriend any such maami??? :D
get a coffee maker! makes things way simpler! :)

oh...the amount of time i have spent waiting in temples here looking for a maami who can make perfect filter kaapi or semma thenga chutney and masala dosa.

the whole point is for me to learn how to make it di! so when my mum asks me to make it, i cant say oh why dont you make it yourself! ;)hehe...actually that gives me an idea..next time my mum asks me to, i can ask my dad to make it!!! :D
